FAQS. . . Yes, In Fact!
Finding Inspiration with every Turn, every Turn Out, and sometimes, while Turning Around!
1. How long have you 'been drawing'?
Well, if finger painting with water on the back porch counts...then, I've been at this for a long time. I have drawings dating back to when I was three years old. I loved drawing flowers, dogs, cats, fish, and a box headed sailor I named Sam. Together, we sailed the High Seas in his triangle shape boat.
2. Do you like to color?
Yes! Coloring helps me settle down when I feel figity. I especially enjoy coloring with my Childrens' Children! We share funny stories, make each other laugh, drink Lemonade and eat cookies. Sweet cookies make Lemonade taste sour when you drink it, but that is okay because laughing, coloring, and sharing Lemonade and cookies is fun!
3. What was your favorite subject in school?
In Elementary School, my favorite subject was Art along with Music... oh, and I really liked "gym" class aka "PE". I really, really liked Lunchtime and Recess: both are still part of the school day... Right?
4. What was your first pet and what did you name it?
My first pet was a German Shepard I named 'Lady'. I loved her very much. A few years later, my second pet was a rescued kitten and later, later... I rescued a hamster. My cat and hamster became friends.
5. How do you get your ideas for writing your stories?
Just like you, I never know when an idea will strike. Sometimes, an idea pops in my head at the oddest time and place. I keep a zipper pouch that holds a small notebook and a special pen. The pouch stays in my purse. I also carry a small camera. Photos inspire ideas for my stories.
With every turn, I never know what to expect. Life happens that way.
